Editorial Policy: Sources, Corrections & Updates
The job of this site is to get a player unstuck without pretending uncertainty does not exist.
Source order
For gameplay claims, the normal evidence order is:
- official current developer / Steam information;
- current-build gameplay footage;
- current reliable video evidence;
- reliable wiki/database material;
- multiple independent player reports;
- a single player report.
A single competitor guide is never treated as primary proof just because it ranks.
Evidence labels
Core guide claims use one of these states:
- OFFICIAL_CONFIRMED — current official source;
- CURRENT_BUILD_VERIFIED — visible in current formal-release gameplay footage;
- ROADMAP_FUTURE — officially planned, not live;
- COMMUNITY_REPORTED — reported by players but not fully reproduced;
- UNVERIFIED — not strong enough to publish as fact.
Competitor use
Competitor pages are used to understand what the current SERP already covers and where users may still be underserved. They are not copied or synonymized into new pages.
A page must state its own information gain — for example current patch verification, a better decision table, a clearer failure diagnosis, or a useful tool.
Corrections
When new evidence conflicts with a published claim:
- update the affected passage;
- change
dateModifiedonly when the content materially changes; - update
lastVerifiedafter the relevant source is checked; - keep the update trigger in the project queue so the same mechanic is reviewed after later patches.
Images
This build uses project-original diagrams where they genuinely help and current-build gameplay frames supplied by the project owner where a real UI/rule image is more useful. Each gameplay frame is logged with source, approximate timestamp, page use and a transparent usage basis. It does not use fabricated gameplay screenshots, strip watermarks, or copy a competitor’s annotated art. Final publishing rights remain the responsibility of the site owner.
